StayBoba (HustleVentures) is hiring independent builders who ship real products.
The Role
We're looking for full-stack developers who are independent builders — people who have been shipping personal projects, contributing to open source, or building products on their own using modern tools including AI-assisted development.

What We're Looking For
We don't filter by CGPA, college tier, or branch. We filter by what you've built.
GitHub as your resume: We evaluate your GitHub profile for the past 2 years — consistency, code quality, project ambition, AI-assisted development, completion, and documentation.
Technical Skills
You don't need all of these — but you should be comfortable building full-stack applications independently.
- React, Next.js, or similar modern frontend framework
- TypeScript or JavaScript
- CSS frameworks (Tailwind preferred)
- Backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar)
- Databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, or any relational DB)
- Git and GitHub workflows
- Comfortable using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar)
- Ability to prompt effectively and validate AI-generated code
- Mobile development (React Native, Swift, or Kotlin)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Cloudflare)
- Docker and basic DevOps
- API design and integration
Selection Process
No DSA rounds. No whiteboard coding. We evaluate based on what you can build.
Submit your GitHub profile via this page. We review your 2-year commit history, project quality, and AI tool usage.
15-minute video call about your projects and process. No trick questions — just a conversation about your work.
A small test project to evaluate database, backend, and frontend skills together with problem-solving ability. We evaluate: code quality, architecture decisions, problem-solving approach, and AI tool usage.
If the evaluation goes well, you receive a 3-month internship offer. We select 1–2 candidates from each round.

FAQ
Do I need a CS/IT degree?
No. Any branch is fine. We evaluate your GitHub, not your transcript.
What if my GitHub is mostly private repos?
Make your best 2–3 projects public before applying, or share a portfolio site that demonstrates your work.
Is the 1-week evaluation paid?
No. It's a short test project (not production work) designed to take a few focused hours across the week. Think of it as a practical interview replacement.
Can I do this alongside college?
This is a full-time commitment (Mon–Sat, 9–6). Best suited for final-year students who've completed coursework, or recent graduates.
What if I only know frontend / only know backend?
That's fine to start — we expect you to grow into full-stack. Curiosity matters more than current breadth.
Do I need to know all the technologies listed?
No. React + TypeScript + one backend language + fast learning = qualified. We'll help you ramp up on specific tools.
What does "AI-assisted development" mean?
We use AI tools as a core workflow — not as a crutch, but as a productivity multiplier. We want people who already use AI to write boilerplate, debug faster, generate tests, and explore solutions.
How many people will be selected?
1–2 candidates from this hiring round. We keep the team intentionally small.
Can I work on side projects?
No. During employment, we require exclusive focus on StayBoba products. No side projects, freelance, or other professional commitments. Non-negotiable.
Can I be let go during the internship?
Yes. The internship is a probation period. If performance is consistently below expectations after feedback, employment may be discontinued.
Is there potential for higher pay?
Yes. Exceptional performers may start full-time at a higher rate. After 6 months, compensation is reviewed based on impact.
